The mission of the Embroiderers' Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage. Our purpose is to practice, share, and learn the art of embroidery. We have an active program of education and study with a goal of preserving the heritage of the art.
The Green Bay Area Chapter is the place for you to form friendships with people who also love embroidery and will support you in your needle work projects. Membership is a great way for you to learn new techniques and improve the ones you already have.
Wisconsin State Days 2024 with Dawn Donnelly
Green Bay Area EGA is excited to be hosting Wisconsin State Days. Dawn Donnelly will be the workshop instructor.
This canvas project is inspired by the snowdrifts in Michigan. Snow Drifted Pathways takes the student into a winter wonderland. The focal point is a snowy path using the butterfly chain stitch over handmade paper (which is provided in the kit along with a brief introduction on how to make paper).
Each student’s pathway will be unique with textures created using the following stitches:

Special techniques include design and layout of your storm, the embroidery stitches above, and attaching paper objects to your canvas.
